About Andrés Reyes

I am a healthcare-focused General Counsel with nearly 15 years of experience helping healthcare and technology companies navigate growth, regulatory complexity, and transformative change. I have worked closely with founders, operators, investors, boards, and executive teams through periods of rapid growth, major transactions, regulatory challenges, workforce issues, and organizational change, particularly in businesses scaling quickly or operating with investor expectations in mind.

Most recently, I served as General Counsel of Interwell Health, a leading value-based care organization focused on kidney care. As a member of the executive leadership team, I advised the board, senior leaders, and other key stakeholders on legal strategy, governance, healthcare regulation, commercial contracting, employment matters, and strategic transactions. I also worked closely with business leaders responsible for provider engagement, payor relationships, care delivery, and other initiatives central to value-based care operations.

Before Interwell, I held senior legal leadership roles at Cricket Health and Wellframe, where I helped guide organizations through significant growth and major corporate transactions, including acquisitions collectively valued at more than $2 billion.

Throughout my career, I have built and scaled legal functions from the ground up, while partnering closely with HR, finance, commercial, compliance, and operations teams to solve practical problems and support sustainable growth. Those experiences shaped how I advise clients today. I understand that legal issues rarely exist in isolation. They are usually tied to broader business, operational, and organizational objectives.

Beyond Work

My family and I live in Winchester, Massachusetts with our two sons. Outside of work, you'll usually find us attending school events, exploring New England, or supporting whichever activity has captured the boys' attention that season. It's a busy and rewarding stage of life that keeps me grounded and connected to the communities many of my clients serve. And despite years spent advising executives and boards, I'm still regularly out-negotiated by a nine-year-old.
